Sample solution: Transfer article data from the ERP
Starting position
At Miller Ltd., up to three new products are created in the ERP every day. The prices for each customer are calculated using a complex discount system. In the internet shop, however, only the net prices should be displayed.
Solution
Miller Ltd. couple their Navision ERP to the product information management system. Iinformation from the ERP is automatically adopted by the Navision Standard Connector so all newly created items and prices are displayed. Thus information does not need to be maintained twice.

Starting position
At Miller Ltd., orders are accepted by fax and telephone. These are transferred to the ERP system by hand. Sometimes mistakes happen that need to be adressed costly. The managing director would like orders to be created and processed as automatically as possible to avoid such errors. Additionally a customer would like to receive shipping notifications by messaging via SAP IDOC.
Solution
ConnectPro acts as a glue for the ERP of Miller and the ones of their suppliers and customers. Orders addressed to Miller are converted into the format required by Miller's ERP and processed automatically. In return, a shipping notification is created that is converted to the target format by ConnectPro and sent to the respective recipients.

Sample solution: Major customer wants to order from SAP
Starting position
Smith Ltd. is a longtime customer of Miller Ltd. and is looking forward to the new shop on the Internet. Orders should be only executed by SAP directly in the future. Of course, Smith do not want to give up the prices which they negotiated earlier. Smith Ltd. are very keen in saving and do not want no additional fees to be paid to the marketplace operator.
Solution
The TradePro OCI interface enables access to the Internet shop directly from SAP. All products appear as defined by them for the Internet shop. The order is handed over from the shopping cart to SAP directly, and will have to pass the usual release processes.
